Broen Holman, a junior at Sonora High in California, took third in the Division 4 boys final by covering the 5-kilometer layout in 14:46.4 at Woodward Park in Fresno at the CIF State Cross Country Championships. Holman also placed third last season, clocking 15:12.4.
