Broen Holman, a sophomore at Sonora High in California, took third in the elite section of the boys 3,200 meters in a lifetime-best 9:03.11 at the Dublin Distance Fiesta at Gaels Stadium in Dublin, Calif. Holman was competing in his first 3,200 in more than 11 months.
